Way to respond - Way to come through! We took advantage of a great opportunity, through a local connection, to give to others for the Cross Point Cares Christmas Project. The Christmas season is now over, but we should continue to show we care about others. So...take advantage of the many small opportunities that you have each day, to show God's love in a practical way!

Last Sunday was Mother's Day. I love you Mom! Each year on Mother's Day, at Cross Point, we have our Baby/Child Dedication Service. Yes, children are a gift of the Lord - so what a great day it was! We gave thanks to God for the 8 little children being dedicated, and their parents made a public commitment to "take their kids to Jesus!"

The weather forecast wasn't bright; but, YES, it happened! The rain held off just long enough for the kids to find all their eggs! A lot of parents and kiddos showed up despite the wind and rain in the forecast, and it turned out to be a great event! 1,500 eggs were found and a very good time was had, during this time of year that we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus!
